Journal Keeping "My Life in a Jar"

Decorate a canning jar with material and ribbon. Give girls copies of questions that would be intended for a journal page. For example: "Tell about your mother and what qualities you admire most in her." Cut out questions and put inside jars. Then when the girls take them home, once a week (or however often they choose), they pull out a question, and glue it in their journals and then write about the topic. Each jar should contain about 25 questions or more. Have the girls answer one at the activity and the rest at home. Make sure to follow up!

  1. This is a great idea. Do you have a list of the questions that you used?
